Robert Paul Fann

	Robert Paul "Bob" Fann, 78, of Du Quoin, passed away at 11:30 A.M., Monday, July 19, 2004 at the Fair Acres Nursing Home in Du Quoin.
	Bob had worked at Blue Bell Packing and had been a security officer at Phelps Dodge Cable Co. He was a member of the Pentecostal Church of Hurst-Bush. He was a US Navy veteran of W. W. II. 	Bob was a Lifemember of Du Quoin VFW Post 513 and a past commander. Bob was a regular donor of the Red Cross blood bank.
	He was born November 6, 1925 at DeSoto, IL the son of Richard and Rose (Loucks) Fann.
He married Edna A. Fletcher on November 10, 1972 at West Frankfort, IL and she survives.
	He is survived by his wife of Du Quoin, children- Recenah Trover of Ozark, IL, Sandra Strech of San Diego, CA, Mary Williams of Du Quoin, Robert David Fann of Herrin, three brothers- Roy Fann of Florida, Floyd Fann of Bush, Archie Fann of Marion, two sisters- Paradine Fann Conroy of Herrin, Dolly Fann Varnum of Anna, eighteen grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.
	He was preceded in death by his parents, son-Vernie Smith, three brothers- Raymond Fann, Homer Fann in W. W. II and Clarence Fann, three sisters- Maggie Fann Barnett, Marie Fann Ingersoll and Lena Fann.
	Funeral services were at 10:30 A.M., Wednesday, July 21, 2004 at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin with Dr. John Lewis officiating.
	Friends called from 5 to 8 P.M. Tuesday at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin. 
	Interment was in the Blairsville Cemetery.
	Military graveside rites were conducted by the Du Quoin VFW and American Legion.
	Friends may make memorials to the Luke Memorial Hospice.
